Stephie Duguid has over 20 years teaching experience. She specializes in intermediate and advanced classical Ballet and inspires dancers with traditional Ballet instruction. Using disciplined Ballet techniques, she works with each student to develop balance, control, vocabulary and coordination to enhance the mind and body. Mrs. Duguid takes a holistic approach to teaching, fostering self respect, love of dance as well as an appreciation of music and rhythm awareness. This approach to Ballet has fine tuned dancers to achieve scholarships at major Ballet conservatories in the US. In addition, Stephie has a set structure and design for a recreational setting which has produced excellent technique and a strong base for future growth. Ms. Duguid's Pointe program is a disciplined regimen of training that has benchmarks each dancer masters before going to the next level. This program has been very successful in a recreational setting for over 15 years. If disciplined, motivated and can follow direction, your dancer will flourish in Stephie Duguid's class. Stephie has been on staff with the Academy for over 14 years.
